My Story…
Hello! As many of you know, I have been running for over 40 years. It keeps me healthy, mentally, physically and spiritually, and makes me feel strong. And, like most female runners, every time I hit the road or trail, I have to think about how to keep myself safe.
I live in Princeton MA, the small rural town where Vanessa Marcotte was murdered while out walking on August 7, 2016. I want to help the organization that was founded in her memory to do whatever they can to prevent other girls and women from enduring harassment and/or being victims of violence.

Description
I am running the 2021 ASICS Falmouth Road Race. Please donate to help me raise funds for the Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to empower women to live boldly and fearlessly, and to reduce objectification and harassment. The Foundation advocates for empowerment, safety awareness, and gender equality. It furthers its mission by providing self-defense training and educational opportunities, and partnering with like-minded organizations to address the root causes of violence.
