My Story...
*A year ago…
We closed our doors for what we thought would be a couple of weeks we never lost hope…We Are Respite
*Then we learned how to be together virtually with over 50 zoom groups offered each week: from music, to work outs, to cooking and connecting...We Are Respite
*After months of struggle in “survival mode” we slowly and safely began to be able to have a small number of people in person while maintaining our virtual program...We Are Respite
*Last August over 30 staff and our families ran /walked a virtual Falmouth Road Race as Team “We Are Respite” and were blown away by the support from our community of family, friends and loved ones who came together through that hard time...We Are Respite
*Then in January we were able to access the vaccine and the future brightened!...We Are Respite
*Today, there is life and laughter back at the house as we continue to slowly and safely serve more of the Respite Center Family in person. We are on a beautiful path forward, but we need your support to be able to serve those who we love so dearly...We Are Respite!!!
Join me as I prepare to run my 2nd Falmouth Road Race in support of my Respite Center family! Come and see the smiles and love that radiate from this beautiful place. Come see the beautiful warm light that shines through the eyes of this incredible community.

Falmouth Road Race fundraising page to benefit The Michael Lisnow Respite Center!
The Michael Lisnow Respite Center is a home away from home for children and adults with disabilities, a place that offers parents time off from the emotional and physical care needed by their children.
100% of the proceeds will benefit the Michael Lisnow Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is awarded to children in our daycare whose families cannot afford services. Every dollar counts!
