My Story…
I became a Heart Mom in 2017 when my daughter, Juliana was born with a Congenital Heart Defect. In 2018, at an appointment with her cardiologist, we found out Juju would need open heart surgery. We prepared as much as parents can for this journey but it was the hardest thing we have ever been through as a family. Walking the halls at Boston Children's Hospital on the heart floor gave me waves of emotions: strength, fight, fear, and resilience. I am so proud of you Juliana, you are our strong heart warrior! I'm extremely grateful for BCH and her medical team and so thankful for the support the Heart Warrior Foundation and other foundations have given our family along the way!
