Welcome to my fundraising page! 

I am running the 7 Mile Falmouth Road Race on August 15, 2021 as part of the Brigham and Women's Team and in memory of my grandfather, Peter J. Davenport. 

In July of 2019 my grandfather suffered a sudden and catastrophic stroke. Ultimately, he passed peacefully with family on August 5, 2019. Needless to say, this was an incredibly difficult time for myself and the entire family. Peter was a loving, kind, and gentle man who cared deeply for his entire family. For me personally, he was a key role model and played a huge part in shaping the person I have grown to be. While he may not be here physically any longer, he is certainly still alive in the hearts and minds of those who knew him.

Therefore, I have decided to run this race in memory of my beloved grandfather. All of the donations received will go toward the Stroke Fund at Brigham and Women's Hospital, a fund in support of cutting edge stroke research being conducted at BWH under the direction of Galen Henderson, MD. The research focuses on improving treatments for and outcomes of patients suffering from stroke. 

My goal is to raise $1000 for this worthy cause. Together we can honor my Peter J. Davenport's memory and help other families avoid the traumatic loss of loved ones!
