My Story…
Hi!
My name is Monica Carbone and I am a Big Sister in the Boston area. Big Brothers Big Sisters connects mentors with children to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. This amazing organization promotes the belief that inherent in every child is incredible potential- a belief that I am also really passionate about. The bond my Little and I have developed over the past year through our outings is so special, and I am lucky to know her!
This year I am excited to be a part of the BBBS Falmouth Road Race team. Our team is running in honor of Jaylynn, who was a Little in the program. She passed away in January 2021 at 19 years old. Jaylynn and her Big Sister volunteered at a water stop at the Falmouth Road Race, and because of this connection the best way to honor Jaylynn is to run for her. Jaylynn definitely made a positive impact on the world, and I will be celebrating her life during the race.
I hope you will consider donating to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands to promote the potential of youth in the Boston area!
Donate to help Monica raise money for The 2021 ASICS Falmouth Road Race’s fundraising campaign.
