My Story…
Hello Everyone! I’m excited to officially announce that I running the 2021 Falmouth Road Race for the Herren Project!
The Herren Project is a national nonprofit organization providing support for the treatment, recovery, and prevention of substance use disorder.
This cause is extremely important to me as I will be running in honor of my big brother, Jason who I lost to addiction in 2019.
I appreciate all the support and donations to such an amazing organization!
Description
Herren Project is a national nonprofit organization providing free resources and support for the treatment, recovery and prevention of substance use disorder.
Services include:
- treatment placement assistance
- long-term recovery support for individuals and families
- online support groups
- prevention & wellness initiatives
- scholarships for treatment, recovery housing, & recovery coaching
Herren Project was founded in 2011 by former professional basketball player, Chris Herren, who has been in long-term recovery since August 1, 2008. Together we recover...as we support, inspire & empower those affected by substance use disorder. www.herrenproject.org
