My RMH Motivation
I'm so excited to be able to run the Falmouth Road Race in support of the Ronald McDonald House at Boston Harbor for the second year in a row. RMHBH is an amazing organization that provides a necessary and often life saving service to families traveling to the Boston area for their child's medical treatment.
RMHBH provides families with free housing and additional support throughout their stay in the Boston area. This includes regular Meals With Love, family activities, and programming like art and pet therapy, games nights, karate, and various other activities that make RMHBH feel like home.
2020 impacted all of us, but non-profits like RMHBH took a big hit. Luckily RMHBH was able to continue to safely house families during the pandemic, but they need our support more than ever as they look to expand their operation in the coming years.
Last year, with your support, I was ecstatic to exceed my fundraising goal and run the Falmouth Road Race virtually, 7 miles door to door from my home in Arlington, to the Ronald McDonald House at Boston Harbor. This year, I'm excited to have the opportunity to run the race in person, in Falmouth, on August 15th! And I'm asking for your support to get me across the finish line.
If you can contribute any amount to my 2021 Falmouth Road Race run, it would be greatly appreciated.
Over the next handful of weeks, I will be sharing some inspiring stories from the families that RMHBH had served. If you have any questions about the organization or are interested in getting involved, please don't hesitate to reach out to me!
Thank you again for your support!

Description
Each year hundreds of families travel to New England from locations all over the world to give their child access to the best medical care. In doing so, they face enormous hurdles such as navigating the complexities of the health care system, extraordinarily high local housing costs, and excessive emotional and physical stress. At the Ronald McDonald House Charities of New England we remove the stress of daily living and support families to enable them to focus on what really matters: their child’s health and healing.
