Team Eye and Ear Falmouth 2021
This August I am going to be running for Team Mass Eye and Ear in the Falmouth Road Race. Back in January I nearly lost my right eye in a freak accident playing hockey. As a result of the injury, I was diagnosed with traumatic glaucoma and ended up having the filter in my eye removed and replaced with an artificial device. The surgery went successful and I didn’t lose my vision.
I’m running Falmouth to honor the amazing doctors, nurses, administrators, security guards, and parking attendants that made me feel comfortable and at ease during a very difficult time in my life. These people are all heroes of mine and this is just a small gesture of my gratitude for them.
Please consider donating to this incredible cause. You will raise hope for a healthier future for those who suffer from debilitating conditions affecting sight, hearing, voice, balance, taste, smell, and cancers of the eye, head, and neck. I truly appreciate any donation you are willing to make.
Thank you all and have a great day!
