My Story…
I ran my first road race when I was in 7th grade in DW Field Park in Brockton, MA. A friend's older brother convinced me to run and to this day I do not know who paid my entry fee. I did really well in that race and my interest in competitive running only grew from there. I went on to be a very competitive runner in high school and to this day I run every week to stay healthy and compete in a few road races a year. I still get goose bumps every time I step to the starting line for a road race.
This will be my first Falmouth Road Race and my friend Hugh and I are raising money for Stride for Stride. Stride for Stride is a running charity that buys race bibs for immigrant, BIPOC and low-income runners. Your donation to Stride for Stride will help make competitive running more accessible for all.
My goal is to raise $1200 to support those who otherwise would not have the chance to experience that feeling of being at the starting line of a prestigious race and inspire them to maximize their potential, in running and in life.
Donate to help Phil raise money for The 2021 ASICS Falmouth Road Race’s fundraising campaign.
