Help Clare raise money

This August, I will be running the Falmouth Road Race for the Nicholas G. Xiarhos Memorial Foundation Fund.  

This year, the team is focusing their fundraising efforts on two very special programs that the NGX Fund supports: Wags for Tags and Sandy Neck for Vets.

Through a partnership with the MSPCA, the Wags for Tags program pairs a military veteran with an animal. Both the veteran and the animal benefit from the socialization and kindness. Studies have shown that companion animals improve physical and mental health, as well as reduce the stress, depression, and anxiety symptoms experienced by many military members. 

The Sandy Neck for Vets program will cover the full cost of a year round off-road beach permit to Sandy Neck for veterans and Gold Star families to heal through all the activities the beach provides, including fishing, hiking, swimming, and more!
