My Story…
Thank you for visiting my running page! To begin, I have always enjoyed running, truthfully running and I have a love/hate relationship. I am by no stretch of the imagination a fast runner, but I couldn’t think of a better reason to run a 7 mile road race than on behalf of the Heart Warrior Foundation. The HWF was created by two families that have been directly impacted by Congenital Heart Defects (CHD). They used their own experiences as an opportunity to improve the lives of others through support, education, and fundraising to raise awareness of Congenital Heart Defects. This year, I will run in honor of these families, their children, and all the other families out there that have been affected by CHD. If you know any families or children affected by CHD then you know why I am choosing to run and I would truly appreciate your donation and support. Please help me to make this the Heart Warrior Foundations biggest fundraising year yet!! No donation is too small, and 100% of proceeds raised go directly to the HWF!
