My Story…
Why I Run...
I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to run along side some amazing nurses this August 2021 in the Falmouth Road Race in support of the Palliative Oncology Services at Brigham & Women's Hospital.
While I'm not a nurse, we have this saying in Cyber Security, "not if, but when" which means, how do we prepare for when the hacker or "bad guy" comes. In so many lives today, that "bad guy" is cancer. Palliative Care focuses on providing relief from the symptoms and stress of a patients chronic illness with the goal to improve quality of life for both patient and family.
I am running this race for so many - family, friends, and friend’s families that have become my own, but I am humbled to dedicate this race to one very special, bad ass, nurse/bff of mine, Margaret Henry. I am also dedicating this race to her (equally as tough) family members as her mom continues to kick cancers ass.
By donating to Palliative Care Services, you can help ensure oncology patients get the support they need. Every penny counts in the fight against Cancer.
Donate to help Haley raise money for The 2021 ASICS Falmouth Road Race’s fundraising campaign.
