My Story…
Join me in helping children with critical illnesses experience the thrill of a wish fulfilled!
This August, I'll be participating in the At-Home Edition of the seven-mile Asics Falmouth Road Race. My partner in this is sassy Sallie, my 14-year-old shepherd mix.
Sallie and I are asking our friends and family to partner with us by making a donation to help grant the wishes of local children with life-threatening medical conditions. For these children, the experience of having a wish granted can be transformative, bringing them pure joy, helping them feel stronger, and reassuring them with hope for the future.
As a member of the Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island staff team for the past 10 years, I'm proud to contribute to the Make-A-Wish mission every day and I invite you to make a contribution in any amount to be part of the magic!
Our Plan:
In her early years, Sallie would often chalk up seven or more miles a day. Though our walks are shorter now, she still takes the lead when we head out. We'll be completing our seven miles for Falmouth over a few days between August 7-14 along some of Sallie's favorite routes of her choosing, as we trot our way to making wishes come true.
