Help Rachel raise money

Time to start running! This will be my second Falmouth road race for EMPOWERHER. I’m honored to say the least. EMPOWERHER is a non profit organization founded by Cara Belvin, whom herself knows the grieving loss of a mother.

I remember my mother’s funeral like it was yesterday. I remember the police blocking off the highway - I remember getting in the limo , I remember hugging my friends to the point where I crumbled to the ground. Going through my last year of high school after my mom died , was so tremendously hard……. There are SO many things the older me, would tell the 17 year old world got flipped upside down me. If I had EMPOWERHER when my mom died and used their support system , that could have helped me with my grieving process in a different way .

As the years continue to pass , losing my mom never became easier, I’ve just learned to deal with it differently. I continue to learn - some days are better than others.
