Consider making a donation to the League School (even $25), to allow me to reach my fundraising goal, which will help the League help students with Autism develop to their fullest potential in every aspect of their lives; social, emotional, academic, and behavioral.
Understand that ASD is a “spectrum” condition, with a wide range of characteristics. Understand that ASD us one form of Neurodiversity. The term neurodiversity urges us to discuss brain diversity using the same kind of discourse that we employ when we talk about biodiversity and cultural diversity. We don't pathologize a calla lily by saying that it has a "petal deficit disorder." We simply appreciate its unique beauty. If you can be anything, be kind.
