Help Kimberly raise money

I might have dug myself a tiny hole this summer... I committed to JMBHF AND The Heart Warrior Foundation. So here goes nothing... I WILL raise at least $1,000 for EACH of these foundations in the next two months (and make the two running singlets into one) with YOUR help and here is why we need to raise this money...

Jack, Joseph, Gracie, Will, Ryann, Genny and Giuli. Check that out 7 names for 7 miles. Coincidence... I think NOT. I could go on and on for days about each of these kiddos and their families but I’m limited space so I’m a nutshell the word AMAZING comes to mind.

     I’m running for Jack and Grace because they have an angel watching over them. I’m running for Giuli because she has an angel watching over her. I’m running for Ryann and Will because they are my everything and should NOT have to live or hear about congenital heart disease in a daily basis. Not one single child in this world should have to say they have a sibling in heaven and not one single child should know what it means to be a warrior sibling and have their sibling in the hospital for days on end. Not one single child should know what an oxygen saturation means and not one single child should have to explain the beauty of their scar.

Maybe you know me and maybe you don’t, but here’s a little secret about me: I am NOT quiet. And I will never be quiet about CHD. I have been friends with Kate and Scott for years now because we have things in common, things NO parents should ever have in common. We have seen our sons go through grueling days, we have cried together and we have laughed together and our kids play together. Kate and I text at 5am and at 3am and at “normal” times too. We text when we are happy and we text when we are sad. Here’s to two months of happy middle of the night texting for kicking fundraising goals out of the park!
