Help Camilla raise money

This year we are trying something different! We will be participating virtually and charting  our own course! Running is not our best event so we will be riding bikes 14 miles (2x7!) 14 is a better number for us anyway as that was Scott’s lucky number!

We are riding for Scott, beloved husband, father, son,  brother, uncle and friend! My husband Scott was diagnosed with ALS in December of 2016. He had been struggling with his speech and gait since July and we were searching for answers, going to multiple doctors only to find out the week before Christmas that he had ALS.

We were devastated, our sons were 12 and 14 at the time and we could not bring ourselves to tell them until after the holidays. We wanted to try and have as normal a Christmas as possible. Over the next several months, Scott declined rapidly. He wasn’t able to try experimental drugs due to his weakened lung capacity. He continued to soldier on though, constantly looking for different treatment options.

Unfortunately, ALS wasn’t giving up either, Scott succumbed to the disease in September 2017. It has been a difficult road but we have been lucky to have amazing friends and family that have supported us along the way. Please help us raise money for this devastating disease where someone is diagnosed and dies every 90 minutes!
