My Story…
Providing care is something that I have always found myself leaning towards. Becoming a teacher and working with kids in the home setting has become one of the most fulfilling avenues in life that I have ever taken. This year, I will be running the Falmouth Road Race in honor of young man who has taught me so much over the past two years as I have had the privilege of being accepted into his family and helping him with his daily needs and giving him the supports he needs to grow within this world. I am raising money for the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress which is a lovely non-profit that helps kids with Down syndrome get the supports that they need to be valued, included and the opportunity to live a fulfilling life.
