Help Grace raise money

Hello & thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I'm running the Falmouth Road Race to raise money for the Jett Foundation, which supports families affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy and research to develop life-changing treatments. Duchenne is a progressive neuromuscular disorder that causes a loss of motor, pulmonary, and cardiac function, and ultimately, premature death, and affects 1 in every 3,500 males. I recently learned of this disease when my mum shared the story of the CEO of Solid BioSciences, whose son was diagnosed with DMD. I was incredibly moved by his story, and the devastating impact this has on families, and am hoping to raise money to help alleviate their burden and accelerate the development of a life-changing treatment.
