Ok, friends, let's try this again! It is my true privilege to be running the 2021 Falmouth Road Race in support of my employer, Old Colony Hospice. Last year went wrong in so many ways, but the amazing people I work with did not miss a beat. I am sure I don't even know a fraction of what went into safely and compassionately providing end-of-life care during COVID, but they do. And now that we are back in action, I want to support them with this small gesture. Every time I visit a patient or family to sit and pray or just talk, I am one member of a team that is working together to make that person's final journey as peaceful and meaningful as possible.
