My Story…
I am excited to be running the 2021 Falmouth Road Race for the Herren Project on August 15th!
I will be running in honor of my brother, Mike, who lost his battle to addiction in February of 2020. Not only will I be running for him, but also for all those who are not with us or those who are still continuing their battle.
In doing so I am ecstatic that I get to run for and with the Herren Project and contribute to their work. Please consider donating! It would mean the world to me and to so many others.
Description
Herren Project is a national nonprofit organization providing free resources and support for the treatment, recovery and prevention of substance use disorder.
Services include:
- treatment placement assistance
- long-term recovery support for individuals and families
- online support groups
- prevention & wellness initiatives
- scholarships for treatment, recovery housing, & recovery coaching
Herren Project was founded in 2011 by former professional basketball player, Chris Herren, who has been in long-term recovery since August 1, 2008. Together we recover...as we support, inspire & empower those affected by substance use disorder. www.herrenproject.org
