Help Lee raise money

This is my fourth time running for the BSU Emergency Fund. I've been lucky enough to keep my health and my job this past terrible year, but I know too many students and their families who can not say the same. It's on all of us who can to help those who need it. I hope you will help me reach my modest goal of 1K before the August race date in four weeks (I'm not worried--you always come through).  And thank you for helping me to be my best self as we work together to make sure that finances are not the reason a student can't stay at BSU. 

And this year, I want to dedicate my run not just to all my students, past and present, but to Dr. Patricia Mancini, my friend and BSU Biology Professor Emeritus, an extraordinary human and mentor--to me and many, many BSU students. Pat taught me during the earliest years of my career that of the many ways one might measure the success of a university career, witnessing the joyous success of our students in their lives beyond the institution is a very excellent metric. And I have kept that thought ever since. She was tireless in her support of our excellent BSU students and she inspires me to do what I can as well. This year, I celebrate the excellent life of Dr Pat Mancini with each step, and I hope you'll join me in doing so.
