Hello family and friends!!
I hope your summer is off to a great start and you all are enjoying some much needed fun in the sun! 😎
As many of you know, in October of 2020, my family, I and so many others suffered the tragic loss of my dear brother, Erik, after a long battle with mental illness. He is greatly missed and his spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
On Sunday , August 15th , I will be running the ASICS Falmouth Road Race in support of Cape and Islands Suicide Prevention Coalition. The mission of the CISPC is to help give surrounding communities the necessary information and tools to raise awareness, promote education and increase action to reduce suicides. Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the US and the rate of suicide is highest in middle-aged white men. On average, there are 130 suicides per day.
My goal is to raise $750.00 for this organization and I would greatly appreciate your donation.
