Help Kate raise money

JMBHF Board members Scott Middlemiss and Andrea Walsh formed Team Big Heart in 2014 and added the running team component to our foundation. Not only have funds from various races fueled our work and initiatives but participation has connected us to some of the most amazing individuals in the running community.
I’ve never been a runner but have championed myself as a great cheerleader and support person to our team and so many others.
During long remote learning days during the pandemic my neighbor and friend encouraged me to start walking with her. I slowly moved out of my comfort zone and started doing more and more. Our daily walks not only kept me sane during long days with the kids but also helped me to make some self care a priory. It’s something I really needed in my life and I’m very thankful.
I may not be fast but I get out there with a heart full of appreciation for all that I CAN do. I walk/jog/run for those who can’t. I talk to my beautiful angel and am fueled to push forward for myself, for all who cannot, and, with your generosity, to continue our foundation’s important work in spreading kindness, empowering youth, and supporting other families dealing pediatric heart conditions while helping to move the field forward.
