Our Story

The Hannon Foundation is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit, formed to assist families in eastern Massachusetts who are in financial crisis due to a parent’s loss of employment, or a family member’s medical condition. Our goal and our mission is to help our community one family at a time.

We run and fundraise in memory of our beloved founder and former Falmouth Road Race participant, Ted Hannon, who passed away suddenly in November of 2020. The foundation motto is 'Help someone if you can', an adage that Ted inspired in all who knew him.

2021 will be our second year participating in the Falmouth Road Race Non-profit program. In our first year, we exceeded our $10,000 goal. We look forward to continuing our mission and thank all those who donate to our cause.
