Covid-19 Refund Policy
With everything going on associated with the COVID-19 outbreak, we at the Mississippi River Marathon hope to ease some of those concerns when registering for a race that is many months out. We’ve seen so many races switch over to a virtual format or possibly even cancelling their event all-together leaving a lot of doubt in the running scene. While we are very confident due our race being located in a rural and less densely populated area in the Mississippi Delta, that our race will be a live in-person event having all the perks you are used to when running our event. If fate should change its mind we have come up with options in case we are forced to go virtual. We will not cancel our race all together and will certainly have the dreaded virtual option where you can at least still get the sweet custom medals and apparel we give out year after year.
Since we are solely a non-profit race benefitting non-profits in the local area, we can fortunately afford to be flexible when it comes to registration fees.
IF we go virtual:
OPTION #1 - Defer to 2022 at no additional cost
OPTION #2 - Take part in the virtual option and donate all your registration fee in which the proceeds help benefit many local non-profits in Washington, MS and Chicot, AR counties. Plus receive 20% off your 2022 race registration fees.
OPTION #3 – Take part in the virtual option and get a Full Refund. We will unfortunately not be able to refund the small registration fee incurred when signing up.
