Our story…
Prior to the pandemic, thanks to a group a dedicated runners, we were able to raise enough money over the course of our 12 years’ as a RUN FOR A REASON charity to support our ministry in delivering community services such as Wealth Gap Simulation Training, Credit Counseling, Creating a Transitional Rental Option, and of course, all the elements of rehabbing an abandoned house for a 1st time home-owner: safely securing the site, installing a new roof, plumbing and electrical wiring, insulation, etc.
Our 2020 runners did the city and OHM proud as they stepped up to the virtual race starting line, yet we fell far short of our goal. Even worse, right now we are behind in recruiting runners to run for OHM this year (and fundraising). We NEED YOUR HELP, please!
