For more than 40 years, the National Black Child Development Institute (NBCDI) has focused on black children and their families. As one of the only national organizations dedicated to this cause, the NBCDI, along with its Affiliate Network in 27 states, has been an effective voice on issues related to education, health & wellness, literacy, child welfare, and funded over $4M in scholarships to support teachers.
