- What's the refund plan? If the race doesn't happen due to a second/third wave we will offer you three options: 1. a full refund, 2. defer your entry fee to the next race or, 3. we will have the course prepared along with your swag bag and all the race perks for our virtual race & partial refund/discount towards next years' race.
If you need to cancel, we will offer a full refund (less processing fees) anytime before August 31, 2021 at Midnight. If you need to make a last minute cancellation, we will work to sell your spot and get you a refund, or can move your registration fee to virtual race or 2022 race.
- How will the race proceed safely? We are working on numerous logistical strategies that will allow us to host a great race while keeping everyone safe. As we approach race-day, communication will increase on how we plan to manage vehicles, racers, spectators, etc. For now, we are allowing 10 runners every 5 minutes. If you have a request to be within your social circle and have your group together, please let us know by email - muskokamarathon@gmail.com - and include all the names in the group you are hoping to run with.
- Will there be washrooms? There will be washrooms on site at the start/finish line, aslo at the 5km & 10km mark. Washrooms will be monitored and sanitized after use.
- Will there be water stations? There will be water stations every 3 km, and it will be passed to you by a representative from the race in protective wear.
- Can I make a time-slot request? Time slot requests are part of your registration information. We will do our best to accommodate everyone
- What happens at the finish line? Once you have finished your race, received your medal, and had you photo taken - please make your way to your car and clear the race area so that other groups may line up. We have to think about social distancing and saftey this year.
