My Story…
Once again the Edwards family is putting together a team to complete the 10 km portion of the Manitoba Marathon. Jim, Phil and Val will complete the walk in Winnipeg. Michelle, Peter and Matt will do their walk in Toronto. Team MMP is walking in memory of Maryellen, Michael and Peter Edwards. The Marathon was so important to them and we want to carry on their legacy.
Our 2021 Marathon will be virtual and we will be completing our walk on either Sept. 4 or 5.
The Manitoba Marathon is partnering with the United Way. All funds raised will go directly to programs and agencies that provide people with intellectual disabilities the support they need to live, work and thrive. All overhead costs for the Marathon are covered through special events and grants.
