My Story…
Once again, I'll be running in the Manitoba Marathon. As it is currently planned, it will be an actual "race" on September 4th, however, if COVID cases get worse, it may move to a virtual marathon (as was the case last year).
I started running in this marathon in 1979, and while I haven't run all of them, I've run fairly regularly since I turned 50 and now I am age 70 (and in a new age category!).
The heat and smoke have made it a challenge to get my long runs completed, but I've done my best.
Besides the fun of the run, I have also always done my best to raise funds for support for Manitobans with intellectual disabilities
By your donation , you'll be helping someone in Manitoba living with an intellectual disability take a huge step forward in their lives.
And it's easy to donate online!
