Raise money for L'Arche Calgary

L'Arche Calgary creates community for core-members (people with Developmental disabilities) and others who support them.  This community provides a place where everyone belongs and has a voice.  It provides social support, nurtures spiritual life and builds self-confidence which gives core members the ability to interact with others and contribute their part to society.

L'Arche Calgary is part of the international Federation of L'Arche Communities and a member of L'Arche Canada.

L'Arche Calgary was founded in August 1973.

We have five homes in the city, a Supported Independent Living Program and a Day Program.

We create community and a place of belonging for over 100 people, including 33 people with developmental disabilities and 20 Live In Assistants who come to us from around the world.

Our core members, personnel and board members actively participate in the Calgary community.

"We all need community, a place of belonging, a place where we can celebrate and be committed to each other, a place where we learn to accept ourselves  as we are and to forgive..."
