Our story…
Feeling depressed after so many family losses and also accepting that it is the circle of life, grief has shown that it is confusing and complicated.
Our first loss was November 14, 2019 and our most recent last one occurring on December 30, 2020... the grief of losing six family members, in fourteen months, has been intense. My mother's strokes and heart attack in May 2020 and living through the impacts of COVID-19, its restrictions on businesses, clients and family members compounded by the inability to receive a hug from you... has been tough!
Mental Health affects many people and in so many different ways. Bipolar disorder to alcoholism, affected individuals can be homeless or the world elite. Disease and death does not discriminate.
The name Small Change Big Changes team name was chosen as to show that Small Change ($) can create Big Changes for those suffering from a spectrum of mental illnesses or disease.
Together, we make this world a better place by understanding mental illness and helping those in need.
