My Story…
On Sunday, September 12, 2020, I will be participating in the Yorkville 5K Virtual Run to raise funds for Girls E-Mentorship (GEM). As you may know, I sit on the board of GEM and I have chosen to give my time to this fantastic organization because I truly believe GEM is making a meaningful difference. GEM is a local registered charitable organization that offers an innovative mentorship program for high school girls facing multiple socio-economic barriers. Each year, GEM turns away over half of all the applicants due to lack of funding. Your support will help GEM to increase the number of girls into their program annually. Any amount you can give is GREATLY appreciated. Thank you for sponsoring me, and for investing in the next generation of girls!
