World Vision is a Christian relief, development, and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families, and communities to overcome poverty and injustice.
A life without clean, safe water is harsh particularly for the young children and women who walk up to six kilometres a day to fetch dirty water. When you run in support of World Vision’s water and sanitation programs every step you take is one, they don’t have to.
Clean, safe water is essential for life. But for almost 800 million people it’s out of reach. Globally, around one in 10 people lack access to a safe water source and up to two billion people living in the world’s toughest regions have no access to basic toilets. But you can help change that. How can you help? Join us! Use your run to contribute to collective global efforts to ensure access to water and sanitation for all by 2030*.

HOW TO SUPPORT WORLD VISION
Fundraise
As part of your event registration, you automatically get your own fundraising page. A link to this will be emailed to you upon registration. After completing this two-minute registration process, your friends, family, and the community will then be able to donate to you directly to help you achieve your fundraising goal. Ensure you set out your target fundraising goal and spread the word across your socials to help you achieve it.
Setting up a fundraising team is also a great way to fundraise as a group and feel a sense of community as you run your challenge. Each team will get their own personalised fundraising page, which you can share with your team members, friends, family, and community so that you can track your progress! Check out our FAQ page for further information on setting up and managing teams.
Donate to a team, school, or club:
If you would like to donate to a team (school, club or business) fundraising for World Vision, simply go to 'view teams' on the page's left-hand side. Find the team you would like to donate to, click donate, and choose your amount. This donation will automatically contribute to the total of the team you have donated to.

Donate to an individual:
Do you have a friend, family member, or someone from your school who is raising money for World Vision, and you would like to donate to their amazing efforts specifically? You have two options. Firstly, you can click on the 'donate to a participant' bar on the left-hand side. Search for the person, scroll to the right-hand side, and donate directly to the individual. Secondly, you can also click on 'participant list' to find the individual you are looking for, scroll to the right, and click donate.
The individual might also share their fundraising page, which will take you directly to the page to donate to them.
