The VINE TRAIL is a proposed 47-mile walking and biking path connecting Calistoga to the Vallejo Ferry Terminal. The mission of the Vine Trail Coalition is to provide a paved trail separated from busy Highway 29 for cyclists, runners and walkers. The VINE TRAIL will connect our communities providing a safe and healthy opportunity for transportation and recreation for residents and tourists alike. To date, 18.5 miles of VINE TRAIL have been completed with segments in Vallejo, American Canyon, Napa, Yountville, Calistoga and Napa County. The longest completed section is 12.5 miles from Kennedy Park in south Napa to Yountville.
LOCO-MOTION is the Napa Valley Vine Trail Coalition’s premiere experiential fundraising event. This year, our fundraising focus is on completing the VINE TRAIL from Saint Helena to Calistoga. We have committed to raise $4.1 million in private funds to match $16 million in federal, state and local competitive grant funds.
