Dream BIG for Education Fun Run/Walk

While COVID-19 continues to spread, causing many running events as well as fundraising events around the globe to be postponed and/or canceled, Founder Region Fellowship has turned to the virtual world and is putting on their 1st virtual Fun Run/Walk. We hope that this will help keep you motivated, inspired, and provide a little light at the end of the tunnel while regular events can’t be held.
Starting May 15, 2021, we invite you take part in the Dream BIG for Education Fun Run/Walk. You can choose to complete a 1 Miler, 2 Miler or 5K and do it either walking or running. You can complete these runs anywhere, including a treadmill. If running outside, please find a place that is as free of others as possible.
Be sure to practice social distancing from others while participating in the Dream BIG fun run.
Once you complete you race submit your results here. or link to the Racekeeper App. You have until May 29, 2021 to complete this event and upload your results.
Shirts and any swag will start being mailed out the week of May 3rd.
Our goal is to raise one fellowship grant of $10,000 which is awarded to women in the final phase of their doctoral studies.
Founder Region Fellowship is part of Soroptimist, a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.
This fellowship program is the identifying project of Founder Region which encompasses 10 counties in No. California, the state of Hawaii, the US territories of Guam, the No. Mariana Islands and the Republic of Palau.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit and have been providing grants to women in the final stage of their doctoral studies since 1948.
