The idea for the Love is Love Mile goes back a few years. While it was originally meant to be run in conjunction with the Pride Parade, we are excited to bring it to you as a virtual event, as part of Calgary' Pride's B!G Pride Festival, for a second year in a row.
Run or walk a virtual mile anywhere and anytime during Calgary Pride week from August 27th to September 6th.

Like all Run Calgary events, this is an inclusive event open and welcome to everyone. The Love is Love Mile celebrates our individuality and we encourage you to show up and just be you.
Our goals are many... to bring two exceptional communities together, fundraise for Calgary Pride, make fitness more accessible to the LGBTQ2S+ (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer Two-Spirit +) community and, finally, to further a culture of learning and allyship in the running community.
Let's be real for a minute... couldn't we all use a LOT more love right now?
Show your Calgary Pride spirit and have some fun when you run or walk your Love is Love Mile by dressing up, visiting some cool Calgary landmarks, and taking selfies tagging both #WeAreCalgaryPride and #RunCalgary.

Virtual Race Information
Run your race, your pace.... anytime and anyplace!
Purchase your registration and select to collect your swag by curbside pickup or to have it mailed to you. Run your race anywhere and anytime between August 27- September 6.
We encourage registered participants to track their run using RunKeeper, where your results will automatically sync with your Race Roster account and load right onto the Love is Love Mile leaderboard. Alternatively, screen capture any fitness app or watch (Garmin, Strava, Fitbit etc.) and manually upload your time.
All registered participants will receive detailed instructions for completing their virtual race prior to the start of the race period.
GST and Processing Fees
Please note that each participant will be charged a processing fee plus 5% GST tax in addition to the race entry fee.
Refund Policy
All fees associated with race registration are non-refundable and non-transferable. Accurate shipping information must be entered upon registration. We are not responsible for misdeliveries or lost swag due to participant error
