Due to the ongoing changes with the COVID pandemic these precautions may change more than once prior to event day. However, we will be monitoring any updates from the IDNR, WHO, McHenry County Department of Health as well at the Governor's Office.
All volunteers will be wearing masks during the event.
All riders will need to wear a mask when they are off their bikes. When eating - obviously - you won't have a mask on - however, anytime when talking/bragging/ or listening to your fellow riders/volunteers, you will need to be masked.
Those registering and or checking in event morning will be temperature checked. Anyone over 100.4 degrees will be given 2 more chances to temperature check before they are asked to leave. This is for the safety of all involved in the event.
Hand sanitizer stations will be available at the start/finish and rest stop. Please use whenever you can.
A hand washing station will be available along with porta johns spaced out at the rest stop.
This site will be updated as the 'climate' changes pre event.
