How does the Challenge work?
- Head out into the mountains with friends and family and track your vertical elevation using Strava, Garmin, Suunto, FATTRACK or any other method (including estimating!)
- Login to your Race Roster Participant Dashboard and manually log your day's activities (non-mechanized climbing: skiing, splitboarding, snowshoeing, hiking etc.) Remember we're measuring elevation gain in metres. There will be a Results tab on your Participant Dashboard that will show your progress along with a leaderboard. You can also log your Adventures on your FATMAP account.
- Activities can be retroactively entered from Feb. 14 until March 31.
- Use #backcountrychallenge to share your photos, activities and Adventures.
- Keep your fingers crossed that you win one of the great prizes being drawn March 7, 14, 21, and 28 or a Grand Prize on April 1
- Have FUN!
