In June of 2019, our daughter was born at 24 weeks gestation, 16 weeks early. For nearly 6 months, the Ronald McDonald House in Hamilton became our home while our daughter stayed a couple blocks away at McMaster Children's Hospital, fighting for her life.
The House was where we slept, where we ate, where we made lifelong friends. It's where we laughed, cried, and stayed hopeful for better days. The Family Room at McMaster provided us with quick snacks and meals during the long days at the hospital. The staff and volunteers at the House and Family Room made us feel so welcome. They supported us, they served us, and they comforted us during the hardest season of our lives. We are eternally grateful.
Our goal this year is to raise $3000 to support the House and the Family Rooms that take care of so many families at McMaster. If you are willing and able to, we would appreciate your financial support to reach our goal.

Ronald McDonald House Charities South Central Ontario (RMHCSCO) serves as a regional resource for thousands of families whose children are being treated at local hospitals. Families typically come to us within 48 hours of their children's critical diagnosis, premature birth, or accident. These families' lives have been instantly turned upside down and our programs are committed to providing safe and comfortable accommodations, nutritious home-cooked meals, laundry services and specialized programming.
By making a donation today, you will be helping to ensure that these comforts of home are available to provide a sense of normalcy when their lives are anything but, and ensure that the only thing our families need to focus on is each other.
