Help Nate raise money

For participating in Headache on the Hill Walk/Run/Relax

My Story…

My name is Nate Schreck, I am 16 years old, and I have chronic migraine. I was born with migraine disease, but I was not diagnosed until age 10 when I collapsed while playing baseball.

Chronic migraine is one of the most debilitating illnesses that you can have. People think migraine is just a headache, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. It is a complex neurological disease that can affect school, work, relationships, physical and mental health, and so much more. Migraine is one of the most misunderstood diseases. Migraine is also one of the most underfunded diseases relative to the burden of disease.

Although chronic migraine challenges me every day, I like to challenge myself in other ways by involving myself at church, extracurriculars, and sports. Recently I became a migraine advocate by joining Headache on the Hill, a group that advocates to the U.S. Congress for better funding and research for migraine and headache diseases. I will be walking, running, and playing baseball to raise money for Headache on the Hill.

Although the path is long, I remain hopeful that one day I can attain full remission from migraine. Thank you for your support!
