The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada is a non-profit organization, run by passionate volunteers.
They strive "to improve the health of Canadians by preventing and reducing disability and death from heart disease and stroke through research, health promotion, and advocacy" on a national scale (H&S).
Not only do they conduct critical research in preventing cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, they also host several initiatives, programs, and fundraising events pertinent to the prevention and management of these diseases.
