Our Story
Amego, Inc. is once again partnering with The Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism to raise money and awareness for Amego and the hundreds of children and adults we serve! This year, Dougie's Epic Adventure will be held at Belkin Family Lookout Farm for an in-person 5K AND will also be a virtual event, so you can participate on your own, too!
Last year was such an incredible success, we are so excited to be back at it again this year! With teams of residences and classrooms and families served through our BEST Clinical division, we raised over $30,000 and best of all, helped spread the word about the work Amego does WHILE GETTING OUR INDIVIDUALS UP AND MOVING!!!
Once again, we will be creating teams and expect the competition to be FIERCE! Be sure to check out our AMAZING teams and give them a gift of encouragement by donating to their team!

Help our team reach our goal for the 2021 Flutie 5k for Autism: Dougie's Epic Adventure, to raise critical funds for the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism to help people and families affected by autism live life to the fullest!
Former NFL Quarterback, Doug Flutie, and his wife Laurie started the Doug Flutie, Jr. Flutie Foundation for Autism in 1998 after their son, Dougie, was diagnosed with autism at the age of three. Their personal experience of raising a son on the autism spectrum inspired them to help others on an equally long and challenging journey. Over its 23-year history, the Flutie Foundation has distributed over $15 million to partner schools and organizations who provide clinical therapies, respite services, recreational programs, social skills training, job supports and more for people and families affected by autism. The Flutie Foundation also provides direct financial support to families through initiatives like education technology tools, adaptive camp scholarships, safety equipment, to provide immediate help where it's needed the most.
