Raise money for The Outreach Centre
The Outreach Centre is home to Central Alberta Outreach Centre Society and Suicide Information and Education Services. The two agencies co-located in 2012 to our current facility. In 2020, we fully merged to under the Outreach Centre banner to optimize our shared expertise, board and resources.
The Central Alberta Outreach Centre Society (CAWOS) opened its doors in 1984 as an agency devoted to supporting women affected by family violence, help meet their basic needs, and find solutions to creating a safer, healthier and more secure life for themselves and their families.
Over the past years the organization has effectively adapted and increased programming to meet increasingly complex issues within communities and the people we serve. Our programs have evolved providing many services to adults and children who are affected by domestic violence, suicide, homelessness, and the effects of poverty.
