5K Run/Walk and Community Event
for Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Awareness
Online registration will close at 11:00 am on. Sunday, September 5th. You can register at the event tomorrow at 8 am. **Cannot guarantee tshirts available at the event due to overwhelming response for event. T-shirts for late registrants will be mailed.
Labor4Hope – because you matter Cherokee, 5K Race/Walk and Community Event for Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Awareness, on Labor Day, Monday, September 6, 2021 at Etowah River Park in Canton Georgia. Funds raised from the event will support the Cherokee County Suicide Prevention Coalition’s local initiatives to prevent deaths by suicide in Cherokee County, to bring awareness and education to the community, to decrease the stigma associated with mental illness, and to bring hope for a brighter future.
The morning will kick off with a 5K run/walk and will be followed by a community event with mental health providers, vendors, food trucks, and fun activities for the whole family.
The race is USATF certified and can be used for Peachtree qualification.
