Our story…
Depuis 2016, une vingtaine de jeunes professionnels du milieu des affaires montréalais s’activent à soutenir la recherche contre le cancer. Avocats, associés, pharmaciens, investisseurs, chercheurs ou consultants, ils ont tous choisi de dédier une partie de leur temps pour se consacrer à la lutte contre la maladie.
À ce jour, la mobilisation de ces jeunes philanthropes a permis d’amasser plus de 340 000$. Leur engagement contribue à faire avancer le savoir et permet aux chercheurs de se rapprocher de nouvelles solutions thérapeutiques au bénéfice des patients.
Since 2016, twenty or so young professionals from the Montreal business milieu have gotten involved to support cancer research. Lawyers, associates, pharmacists, investors, Investigators or consultants, they have all decided to devote some of their time to focus on fighting the disease.
So far, the mobilization of these young philanthropists has resulted in raising over $340,000. Their involvement contributes to the advancement of knowledge and enables Investigators to move closer to new therapeutic solutions benefiting patients.

A state-of-the-art research and training center located in the heart of the Université de Montréal.
One in two Canadians will develop cancer in their lifetime. One in four Canadians will die from it. This disease is the leading cause of death in the country. Each year, cancer accounts for 30% of deaths in Canada.
The IRIC was created in 2003 to tackle this disease. The Institute stands out for its unique research model, which combines the complementary expertise of 29 researchers with that of a research translation team. IRIC also relies on 10 technological platforms and a Drug Discovery Unit, composed of the largest team of medicinal chemists and academic biologists in the country.
