My Story…
My favourite season is paddling season! I'm so happy to once again be participating with Chinatown's SHOWBOAT dragon boat team. We are a competitive FUNdraising team! We love to paddle but supporting our community through our various fundraising efforts drives us! We have some amazing local charities in need of your support this year. This includes: Cornerstone Housing for Women, Shelter Movers Ottawa, and Ottawa Anglican Day Programs (St. Luke’s Table, Centre 454, and The Well). Please consider a donation.
This year, as in previous years, I am doing a Booze basket draw with all funds going to the Ottawa Dragon Boat Foundation. The photo is attached or you can message me for more details. The draw will be on the stage during the awards ceremony at the Festival on Sunday June 26 around 5:00pm. There are 2 baskets, so 2 draws this year; one liquors (Scotches, Vodka, Gin, Rum) and one wine, beer and cherrywood cheese board. The first one drawn can choose which basket they want. Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $20, (10 for $50 & 25 for $100). I will fill out your tickets for any donations made online.
