Help Samantha raise money

This year, our team aims to raise $5,000 to support CECI's Volunteer Cooperation Program!

Through CECI's Volunteer Cooperation Program, volunteers have the opportunity to support local initiatives working toward gender equality, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and poverty reduction in Africa, Asia, and the Americas. The funds raised through the program support the creation of local projects that strengthen the place of women and youth as agents of change and aim to strengthen the economic power of women for sustainable and inclusive development. Men and local leaders are also involved in applying and supporting equitable practices towards women. 

I am grateful to have the opportunity to support and to learn from two local organizations in Cochabamba, Bolivia this year as a Gender Advisor with the  Instituto de Formación Femenina Integral   and the  Plataforma Boliviana frente al Cambio Climático  . 

After completing my first ever 5km at 3600m above sea level while living in La Paz last year, I figured since I'm living at 2500m now why not challenge myself to 10km this time?
