My Story…
Support me as I run for the success of youth and young adults in the Innovation Youth and Entr’Ados programs. These are programs of Christian Direction, where I serve and work alongside a passionate and gifted team of urban workers.
Innovation Youth serves children, youth, and their families in the Peter-McGill neighbourhood of downtown Montreal. We serve children and families of newcomers to Canada, young adults working to get their secondary (high school) diplomas, and we run a full food security program (Innovation Assistance) and an urban agriculture program.
Entr’Ados is a program serving youth in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighbourhood in the east end of Montreal. We provide tutoring and life skills training, financial capacities training (micro-enterprising), and a seed-to-harvest urban agriculture program.
Your donation will assure that these youth are supported by caring and skilled intervention workers, contributing to the well-being and flourishing of urban neighbourhoods.
My personal goal of $3,000 is a big goal for this run, but it would support one part-time intervention worker three days a week throughout the school year. Others on our team have set their own goals and are training for their run!
I’ve been training with my wonderful wife for this half-marathon. We are running with others who are running for Innovation Youth and Entr’Ados. Thank you for supporting us as we run!
